Hotel Convento São Paulo

The ancient cells of the monks, their corridors and fountains transport us to the 12th century in a perfect and unforgettable way, alongside their gardens and two swimming pool.
The convent was abandoned in the early 19th century, when Portugal’s ruling royals dissolved religious orders. A private family eventually restored the Convento de São Paulo, which is home to the largest private collection of tiles in the country.
