Check in for the tour and boat is in Trogir between 1:00pm and 2:00pm local time on the first day of the tour. The boat departs at 2:00pm so please do not be late!

The easiest way to get from Split International Airport and Trogir is to take an Uber. We do not provide transport to/from the airport.

Power adapter

Wifi and Phone

There is free wifi on the boat! You can use it to call over wifi, send texts, WhatsApp, etc.

While we are off the boat, there will be sporadic cafes and restaurants that may have wifi available, but no guarantees.

You can also check with your phone carrier to see what international plans they offer.

For data, consider an eSIM (apps like Airalo set one up in minutes) or check your carrier's international plan. Most modern phones support eSIM, no extra device needed.

Communication and WhatsApp

Each evening after dinner, there will be a briefing, where we will go over the following day. Here we will share important information like where to be and when for the following day.

We will use WhatsApp to communicate with everyone prior to and during the trip. We will set up a WhatsApp group and add everyone to it. Here you can share pictures and chat with other members of the group. It's a good idea to start by sharing a picture of yourself and introducing yourself.

What to Pack

What we Provide

You don't need to bring these; they're already part of your trip, so leave the space in your bag for something else.
- Your bike for the week, with e-bikes available on request
- Flat pedals (no need to bring your own, please don't)
- A detachable pannier bag
- A hair dryer in your cabin
- Bed linens and towels for your cabin
- Soap in your private restroom
- A helmet will be provided; however, we always like to bring our own for fit and comfort
- A water bottle

Essentials

The non-negotiables. Pack these first, and remember the boat carries your luggage all week — so you truly unpack once.

A positive, friendly attitude
Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond travel), plus a printed copy stored separately
Travel insurance documents (saved to your phone and printed)
Credit/debit card with no foreign transaction fee, plus some euros for cafés and small purchases
Type C power adapter for Europe
Any personal medications in their original packaging
Packable rain jacket and a windbreaker or soft-shell for cool mornings, passing showers are possible
Lightweight, breathable layers you can mix and match
Padded cycling shorts
Bathing Suit
Closed-toe shoes that work for both riding and walking
Sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balm
Casual evening clothes for relaxed dinners aboard and town strolls
A warm layer for cool evenings on deck
Toiletries and any personal care items
Phone, charger, and an eSIM or international data plan set up before you fly

Nice to have

Not required, but seasoned riders are glad they brought them.

A Garmin or GPS to track and see routes
A GoPro or compact camera to capture the canals, windmills, and countryside
Anti-chafing balm like Chamois Butter
A lightweight daypack for off-bike walks and town visits
A buff or light scarf for sun, wind, or cool mornings
A spare hat for breaks when the helmet comes off
A power bank to keep your phone charged on long riding days
Blister plasters and a few aspirin or ibuprofen for tired muscles
A small dry bag or zip-top bags to keep electronics dry in a downpour
A refillable electrolyte or drink-mix powder to flavor your water and keep energy up
Sleep aids like earplugs, an eye mask, melatonin, and white noise.

Leave behind

Skip these — they add weight without earning their place on a relaxed bike week.

Formalwear or dressy shoes; every evening is casual, including dinners aboard
Bulky luggage; a soft duffel or medium suitcase fits cabin storage better
A full week of separate outfits, plan to layer and re-wear; pack light
US dollars for spending, no one accepts them; euros and cards only
Hair dryer, there's one in your cabin
Full cycling kits, most people will wear more casual cycling clothes or regular clothes
High-value jewelry or anything you'd hate to lose on the road

Routes are located on the website and our Ride With GPS Event. We highly recommend you download the Ride With GPS App and ensure you can access the routes on your phone.

Restart the app
Open the app, click more, then click events. Select the 2026 Bruges to Amsterdam - BRAG International Event and then select the route you'd like to navigate.

You don't need to run the app all the time, as we'll stay together as a group. However, if you choose to ride on your own, or find yourself lost, its a good idea to have the routes as a backup. You can also download the routes for offline. In the event you don't have service, your GPS and route navigation will still work.

Do I need Cash/Euros?

No one will accept American Dollars. Everyone accepts Euros. The vast majority accept cards, amex is less commonly accepted. Its a good idea to keep some euros and euro coins for our trip. It's much easier/faster to get strawberries out of the vending machine or grab a quick espresso at the cafe with cash. We recommend pulling out Euros at a bank ATM once you are in Europe for the best rate. Not at the airport and preferably with a card that does not charge a FX fee or ATM Fee.
